Mortal Kombat
Hello to all the gamers out there, alright lady's and lizards, how was your time since my last post? I hope it was good because now i want you to "GET OVER HERE!!!!!!"
Yes my friends i am going to be reviewing Mortal Kombat a game played by gamers since 1992 when this great arcade fighting game was released, but we're not old timey gamers, we want to see the 2011 remake that has better graphics, more fighters to play as, and plenty of action and gore. This game I find lots of fun to play with my friends and alone, the gameplay is great, the fighting keeps you going, and the story is pretty cool and lengthy. Lets look at some scores....
Gameplay: 10/10 You have to dislike fighting games quite a lot for this game to get dull quickly, there's constant fighting with boring to scary good AI and friends, plenty of mini games, and lots of unlockables.
Graphics: 10/10 In all honesty the graphics are awesome, the game never overlooks body movements or bodily damage and the blood and gore effects are realistic, plus there's also lots of backround movements and plenty of outside graphic workings.
Story: 8/10 The story is not the best out there however it is quite cool, there is plenty of twists that keep your thoughts running and the length of the whole this is quite great, and another upside is it can be played on 5 different game modes.
Now that you know my opinion on the game, hows about we take a look at the people you can fight/play as?
Scorpion
Scorp is one of the main mortal kombat characters this guy has been around since the start of the franchise, most of his attacks are based on fire and his famous "GET OVER HERE" spear throw attack, however he can also use his twin swords in many ways and is a formitable hand-to-hand fighter, his weekness is he is a ground based fighter and cannot jump very well. (mortal enemy: Sub Zero)
Sub Zero
When Scorpion was created they needed someone to fight him, so they said "well Scorpion is a fire guy, lets make him fight an ice guy" and thus Sub Zero came into the picture, Sub Zero's attacks are all based on ice (yeah no kidding Josh) thus he can freeze his enemy's where they stand or he can make an ice blade to fight with, Sub Zero's weekness is he has very few attacks which can leave him at a veriaty disadvantage. (mortal enemy: Scorpion)
Alright, realizing how many fighters there are I have made a choice to cover three in one....... SO!!
Mileena (left) is sister to Kitana (middle) and Jade (right) is Kitana's protecter..... make sense?.... thought not, anyway I will be short on these three because we have lots to go through. Okay so I'm sure the first thing your going to say is "why do they have so little clothes on Josh?" the answer to that is that these three are fast fighters and common sense is that the less pounds you got on you the faster you are. (or the creators are really perverted)
Mileena is a air fighter and also a crazy [individual] when it comes down to speed as she can teleport.
Kitana is a master with her blade fans which can make air currents and she can also use them as a projectile weapon, her heavy damaging attacks take place in the air.
Jade uses a magic metal pole that she can call upon at will, she also uses three pronged throwing knifes. (my friends and I call her the super stripper :P )
Noob Saibot
I know to most gamers his name sound kind of funny, but the trick is is that his name backwards is actually the name of the creator of Mortal Kombat. Noob's attacks involve him calling upon shadow images of him self to use in combat, but is also quite deadly with his black hole attacks.
Kano
Kano is a cyborg making him very strong and fast, he also has two knifes that he can throw (mortal enemy Sonya Blade)
Sonya Blade
Soyna is part of a CIA squad tasked with tracking down Kano, thus her attacks are based on both martial arts and milatary training, she is also very agile. (might i ad--- no? okay, I'm sure you guys have it figured out)
Okay guys I have covered quite a few people here, if i go on we'll be here all day, so if you want to find out more about the rest of the fighters you can the the bloody game X).

Alien vs Predator game reveiw
Hello my fellow gamers, I have a question for you, do you feel a very odd large and somewhat scary figure behind you? If so you may just be in danger of having your head removed, because behind you is a Predator FROM!!!!
All in all for me this was a fun game to play even though all three stories were short, they were lots of fun to play. The feeling of awesomeness you gain when your ether fighting hoards of aliens and colecting the severd heads of humans for hunting prizes as a "armed to the teeth" Predator or stalking the shadows as a snake like Alien. It don't matter, playing this game is great however it's pretty much an online graveyard, so if you get sick of killing AI then grab some friends and get them to play this game.
Ratings
Gameplay: 6/10 While the game is lots of fun to play the three stories are painfully short and gets old after playing it for the 50th time and as it is also an online graveyard. However the 4 diffacultys make it interesting
Graphics: 9/10 This game looks great, it's smooth, looks real, and face movement looks just like a real person, however it looses a perfect score because the blood and gore effects look cheesy and old and the humans are way to "juicey" leaving those with the weeker guts a bit grossed out.
Story: 7/10 As I said before the storyline is short, while the Alien and Predator stories leave you at the end with a "yeah ok I see whats happening" comment the end of the human story leaves you with a "du hell just happend?!?!" comment.
Who you will fight/play as in the game
Predator
Playing as the Predator is fun as you are armed to the teeth and still get weapons later in the game. There are also a few moments in the game where you can fight as many Aliens as you want
Weapons: Wristblades, Plasma caster (shoulder mounted plasma canon), Combi stick (a deadly spear), Proximity mines, and a Smart disc (a bladed disc that works like a boomerang)
Skills/Tech: Long distance jumping, Cloaking, Zoom vision, Focus mode (lets you gain info on a target), Vision modes (thermal and alien), Distraction
Alien (my favorite)
Playing as the Alien tests your ninja skills as most of this gameplay is in the shadows thus on harder modes you learn something fast, you get seen = you get screwed
Weapons: claws and tail *facepalm*
Skills: Focus mode (allows you to quickly move in to attack), Can climb on any surface, Bloody fast O_O, Stealth, Hiss to bring prey to you
Marine (human)
Playing as the marine is fun because out of the the three stories the Marine is the longest, however while playing on Easy and Normal modes you feel like a bad ass, the Hard and Nightmare modes will scare the living hell out of you as there are few lights, hundreds of Aliens, and low ammo
Weapons: Pistol (better then you think), Shotgun (lots of fun), Pulse rifle (the grenade laucher attachment helps), Smart gun (like a big machine gun with lock on , smart to use), Flamethrower (works great with Aliens), Scoped rifle (handy when the Alien on the other side of the room is pissing you off), Melee combat (DON'T TOUCH ME)
note: you don't get all these great weapons at the start of the game, you have to get them first.
